Itinerary Details
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative of Savannah quest will be waiting for you by the arrival terminal, ready to introduce themselves and help you with your languages. Once settled in the vehicle you will be slightly briefed of your destination and will be transfer red straight to your luxury hotel.
After the first sunrise in Tanzania, you will have your breakfast and a small briefing from your tour guide will take place. Departing from Arusha City, you will drive west of Arusha for approximately 2 hours until you started your first game drive in Tarangire National Park.
Once you’ve entered Tarangire, you’ll begin your game drive across a rich vista of endless golden savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River. The river itself runs throughout the year and is a vital source of water for the animals of the region during the dry season. You’ll have the opportunity to see lions, eopards, cape buffalo, and a huge variety of antelopes.
A picnic lunch with a view of the river is a great way to take it all in, but you’ll have to keep on your toes as the local monkey population does its best to separate you from your lunch!
After your day’s drive is done, you’ll retire to your accommodation for the evening where a warm welcome awaits, fine dining and a bonfire to tell the tells of the African bush.
Activities& excursions: Game Drive
You’ll want to get an early start so that you are amongst the first people down on the crater floor. Not only is that when it is quietest, but the lighting conditions are at their best, and the resident animals are at their most active too. You’ll have some morning coffee and breakfast on the crater floor before going on an unforgettable game drive.
Home to over 720 species of mammal including the fabled Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought-after safari destinations in the world. It’s a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippos enjoying the cool water.
Before noon you will start making your back up the steep walls of the caldera to the rim, and onwards to Nabi Gate (the entrance to Serengeti National Park), to your next luxury stay, where a warm welcome from the stuff is awaiting.
Freshen up, grab a drink by the bar and have a seat by the campfire while the night fades away before dinner
Start your morning with an early morning wake-up call, with coffee or tea delivered to your room as you get ready for the Miracle Experience team to pick you up for your hot air balloon safari. You won’t have breakfast at your camp, but you ’ll have a bush breakfast waiting for you.
Your safari from the sky will be unforgettable, when you arrive at the launch site, you can enjoy more coffee, tea, and cookies while the sun and balloon begin to rise. Once in the air, you will have immaculate views of the sunrise from above, spotting animals from the sky. Breakfast will be served once you land, then back to your camp. It is up to you if you’d like to have another game drive or relax before dinner.

On this day you will leave early with your packed breakfast as you make your way back to arusha. on your way you will have a chance to stop by a Masai boma for a cultural experience. You’ll have the opportunity to witness and participate in traditional Maasai dance, tour an authentic Maasai village, and even do a little souvenir shopping at the local market.
Once you out of Serengeti national park and Ngoro Ngoro crater you will stop by to have you hot lunch at lilac café or art gallery. Depending on the time you will be able to tour their facilities and after that you will continue your drive to arusha and to your accommodation
Activities & Excursion: Masai boma visit.
Today you will be driven to the airport but before that a small get together with a representative of savannah quest to share some stories and to bid fare well.

Your booking request must be made in writing and a deposit of 30% is due at the time of booking to reserve your tour and accommodation with Savannah Quest. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
An invoice will be sent upon making the reservation and the full payment is due 90 days prior to the start date of your trip. If your booking request is within 90 days of the trip start date, the full payment is due 72 hours after booking to ensure reservations with lodges and camps. Currently only wire transfer to our account at Barclays are accepted.
*All payments should be free from bank charges - the client is responsible for the additional costs imposed by the bank transfer company.
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing to Savannah Quest. At the time we receive the cancellation, all money will be refunded with the following cancellation charges, deducted from the total price:
21 to 30 days or more before departure: Cancellation fees equal the amount of your deposit (30%) 12 to 20 days before departure: 85% of the package price is non-refundable
0 to 11 days before departure: 100% of the package price is non-refundable
Reservations with accommodation, activities, and flights have a strict loss of deposit policies that may force us to deduct any amount retained by them. You may also be responsible for any fees imposed by hotels, airlines etc., that are over and above your deposit amount, due to the cancellation of your original date booking.
Please note that no partial refunds will be given for unused meals, hotel rooms, airport transfers etc., for any reason whatsoever. Savannah Quest Safaris reserves the right to increase the tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, currency fluctuations, park fee increases, fuel surcharges, taxes, etc. Savannah Quest Safaris re- serves the right to alter the tour without notice and accommodations are subject to change.
Savannah Quest Safaris is not responsible for expenses incurred by trip members in preparing for the trip (e.g. visa fees, immunizations, insurance, equipment, etc.) or for any necessary additional travel arrangements should you embark from home before the group departure date.
If there is a change to the reservation (postponement, reduced length of stay, reduced number of clients) the deposit will be applied to the new itinerary, if changes occur 90 days prior to the start of the tour date.
Savannah Quest Safaris highly recommends clients to purchase full coverage travel/trip insurance through third party companies. In the case that your tour must be canceled, we encourage you to use an insurance company to cover your cancellation fees.
